Unless Epson's come up with a replacement for Enhanced Matte there's no such thing as "archival matte". Epson Enhanced Matte seems less "archival" than other matte photo papers in that it yellows within months. In three years of careless use (leave it on for weeks without use, then use it) with OEM Epson pigments I've had ONE clog with my 2200 and it was easy to eliminate. Zero banding.
