Yes, I am using EEM.

I have not tried doing it with no ICC.

Unfortunately, I have neither a scanner nor a
spectrophototmeter....yet, so i guess i may have to invest in one or
the other.

I am going to try the no icc workflow, and see how that turns out.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
