[Digital BW] Re: Epson R340 with MIS UT-R2 Inkset Experiences

Paul,

I have now tried a variety of things, and it seems no matter what i do
the flat spot is still there.

I stopped using the icc's, and then in the driver, I reduced the cyan,
and magenta settings to -12, and the flat spot stayed, although a bit
less pronounced.

I then reset the colors back to 0 in the driver and played with a
couple of curves. Essentially, i lightened the 60%, and darkend the
70% spots (which increases the contrast if i understand curves
correctly). And, the flat spot is still there.

Should i start shopping for a scanner?

Regards
Cory
