I also have the 880. I believe you are incorrect on saying that 
there's no chip. I'll have a further check on this. However MIS 
states on their website that "Where applicable, chips are included on 
the cartridge." At the InkJetMall.com they have B/W inksets for Epson 
but not for the 880. Their stock only is for non-chipped cartridges.
