Correct me if I'm wrong, but, just for the sake of accuracy, the respective MIS UT inksets for these two printer families use, I believe, 3 shades in 6 cartridges (R220-family) vs 2 shades in 4 cartridges (C8x). Another thing to consider about the C8x alternative, and again please correct me if I'm wrong, is the consensus that the C8x and MIS ink combo is better on glossy papers, while the R220-family MIS combo is better on matte papers.
