Hello Terry,  I had the same problem with my 2200 and flashing lights.  
I ended up taking it in to a local printer repair place.  It is not 
Epson authorized but a place where I sent all our printers in my former 
position as Technology Coord.  They researched and were not able to 
repair it.  I suggest that you try the Epson site for a refurbished 
2200 before EBay.  I did and got a 2200 with a 1-year factory 
warranty.  Nancy
