Here's what finally got me out of trouble, and the site I wish I had found to start. . . http://inkjetprinterhelp.us/servicemanuals.html You can download the Epson 2200 service manual for $10 there. The download includes the Epson Printer Adjustment program which will let you reset the Waste Ink Counter properly (amoung other things). The service manual contains a page with the EPROM and Timer IC Reset instructions that Walt was kind enough to send me as a PDF (didn't even realize it was there) and a front panel method of resetting the Waste Ink Counter. The manual will prove to be handy for a number of other things as well. Take care, Terry. > -----Original Message----- > From: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > [mailto:DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com] On > Behalf Of Nancy Wilson > Sent: February 9, 2007 12:44 AM > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] 2200 Flashing Red Lights / > Resetting Waste Pad Counter - Issue Resolved > > Just saw this today: > > http://inksupply.helpserve.com/index.php? > _m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=103 (but I think > you tried > this solution) > > http://www.2manuals.com/reset_wip.php (and an older solution, but it > tells you how to get additional support) > > Nancy > > > Have the screen shot and instructions for resetting the waste pad > counter > > and eprom been posted somewhere? > > > > Paul > > www.PaulRoark.com
