RE: [Digital BW] 2200 Flashing Red Lights / Resetting Waste Pad Counter - Issue Resolved

2007-02-09 by Terry Ritz

Here's what finally got me out of trouble, and the site I wish I had found
to start. . .

http://inkjetprinterhelp.us/servicemanuals.html

You can download the Epson 2200 service manual for $10 there. The download
includes the Epson Printer Adjustment program which will let you reset the
Waste Ink Counter properly (amoung other things). The service manual
contains a page with the EPROM and Timer IC Reset instructions that Walt was
kind enough to send me as a PDF (didn't even realize it was there) and a
front panel method of resetting the Waste Ink Counter. The manual will prove
to be handy for a number of other things as well.

Take care,

Terry.
