I was 99% sure I had them in the correct spot. But just for grins, I popped them out and looked. Lo and behold...M and LM were swapped. Needless to say, my linearity looks fantastic now. Wow...do I ever feel like Homer Simpson. Thanks a TON for looking at the easy solution first. On the plus side though, i did go ahead an buy a used canon lide 30 scanner off of craigs list for $20. Works great!
