The description of MIS's UT-3D inks says that on printers such as the Epson 2200, both glossy and matte papers can be printed without changing the pure-black cartridge. The Eboni cartridge remains in the black position (for use with matte papers), and glossy surfaces are handled by inks from other cartridges. Can anyone direct me to instructions as to how this is done for glossy paper? Straight profiling with ColorVision / Printfix Pro 2.0 is fine for matte papers (it seems... although I'm struggling with that, too), but it couldn't care less about Eboni vs. PhotoBlack. What do I do (and where!) to turn off the Eboni cartridge and manipulate the others into giving me a deep black? Thanks.
