>How does the Kirkland paper hold up over time? >Can you use it for more than proofing? I use if for brochures, etc. but not prints I sell (which are generally matte anyway). With the acid test pen the interior paper does seem to test as buffered. That is the conspicuous difference between the Epson Premium RC papers that are said to be archival and most of the other RC types of papers, which are generally felt to be quite non-archival. However, with no statements from the seller about being acid free, that interior paper could still have too much residual lignin in it. So, the acid test pen is no guarantee that the paper will last a long time. Personally, my guess is that that paper is good enough for all uses except sales that are explicitly said to be archival and acid free. I suspect the paper is good for most uses, and way better than the acidic papers that the manufacturers admit are only good for 30 years. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
