Hi,
i would be interested too in this procedure of Jerry Olson....i had a packaging error with Mediastreet and got 2 bottles of PhotoMagenta instead of 1 magenta and 1 pM. Now in the meantime they changed ink formulations, and my inkset is worthless......i have to change, so i ordered a new CIS, but i would be interested to cleanup the old one as a reserve for experiments.

Jerry Olson has do so successfully. I'll send you his procedure off list.

If MIS sent the wrong product, I'd guess they'd replace the CFS (if it was
one of their units).
You can also just replace the cartridge part of the CIS or CFS.
If the two inks that were wrong are just the wrong density, then it's going
to be a lot easier to clean the sponges than if the toner was in the wrong
position.
