Digital BW, The Print

I have batch # 27AZF2T36, letter size 15 sheet box. No ink scratch off. I'm using Epson K3 inks with matte black. I'm observing scuff marks in very dark areas if I take my finger and rub the print. Otherwise, the surface seems fairly durable. Dmax is somewhat low, around 1.60 - 1.62 using Studio Print.

Exactly the same here. The ink (Eboni) is just sitting on the surface 

and not sinking in at all. Perhaps a photo black would work better?
