My 1160 apparently died (turns out it didn't.) I called Epson to see about a repair. The Epson person mentioned a "loyalty" program if I were interested in a new printer, and that I had 14 days to exercise the option once offered. I took advantage of the opportunity to buy an R2400 at 25% off. I was told that the program was aimed at people who have bought Epson printers in the past (I've purchased 5 of them over the years.) When I wanted to add extra ink carts, she told me that the program (discount) applied only to printers, and that the discount amount was model specific. The best way to get more info on the program would be to call the Epson Store. Good luck. Harry Lockwood
