Hi Tyler: Thanks for responding. I don't know what you're referring to when you say it's the "wrong" cart; both the gloss and matte black ink carts go in the same slot--just one *or* the other. My gloss black cart is almost used up and I was hoping to simply remove the gloss black and insert the new matte cart in its place. Normally I would go through the black ink switching routine and lose a lot of all 8 inks, but maybe I can just slap the matte black in there and print away, knowing that eventually the K line would eventually be flushed through with all MK ink. Just a thought, and I'm open to any more comments on potential problems with doing this.
