Yes, it and the Bowhaus IJC/OPM are the 2 most affordable B&W RIPs (raster
image processors -- third party programs that allow you to control each jet
independently).

Note that you can learn QTR on the 2400.  So, you can use basically the same
workflow on multiple printers.
