You could do that. Before buying a copy of VirtualPC I would check out
the Connectix site for what version will run on your
Mac. The newer versions will need at least a G4/G3 to run, will not
work with G4/G4 card in an older Mac. DOS does run on all versions.
A new copy with DOS goes for $99 from Connectix.
Why do you want to go to the trouble of using the MIS system when CIS's
doesn't use software to reset it? CIS has their own
chip that shows 100% at all times. Have you checked it out?
By the time you buy VPC, the adapter, MIS software and the CFS unit, the
cost will be more then if you bought the CIS unit
