Pierre, My first questions is WHY? If you had a 16bit image Lightroom will be OK, color or B&W. While some may have a color for selenium, I view that as some trying to make platinum prints without platinum. If you just desaturate your 16 bit color image and then "save as" you 'll have an RGB file with no color, then add color, reddish, bluish, or whatever you do to make selenium. Or better yet, just take your RGB 16 bit file into Lightroom and do your color adjustments there. If you're really happy with the duotone color, convert it to RGB and then import that file into LR. This is another situation where Adobe doesn't support their own code. In order to mimick a selenium toned image I converted a 16 bit color image into greyscale then down to 8 bit and finally into a duotone. I tried to import this image in Lightroon but it doesn't want to cooperate. I had similar issues on some images where I hadn't enabled compatibility mode but in this case I even saved it as a copy with compatibility mode enabled but still no joy. Any suggestions? Thanks, Pierre [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
