Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I have some very large images, over 200mb and want to save images that I've finished work on, in a smaller format that tiff, to save disc space. I've saved some as maximum quality jpeg, but png, being lossless, is attractive.

The problem is that it doesn't allow me to embed an icc profile with it (I'm using PS7). What detrimental effect (if any) will this have if I have to reassign QTR Grey Lab or QTR GRey Matte again upon opening it?
