Patrick, I don't think so. This link, http://news.com.com/8301-10784_3-6146229-7.html is a Blog note from CNet about PS CS 3 NOT being a 64 bit app. It was written back in Dec 06 so things could have changed by now. This link, http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=320005 is a tech paper from Adobe talking about memory allotment for PC's and Mac's. It seems that the issue of using more RAM in PS is an OS issue, not a Photoshop one.
