So when someone asks how tobest convert a 16 bit image to an 8 bit
image, I suppose that should be on a Photoshop forum?

Adobe stock, contracts with Adobe, or any friends at Adobe?
You do realize, that the delete key is the easiest way to ignore posts
that you aren't interested in?
It's much easier than appointing yourself the decider of what content is
relevant. I've known the listowners long enough that if they felt I was
out-of-bounds, I'd know already.
