Keith, It seems that way because you cross posted it on several list. I
really can understand being pissed about having software come out that is
less than perfect. You just seem to be REALLY pissed or perhaps it is more
disappointed in Adobe. Do you have access to the numbers of problems vs. the
number of happy trouble free customers? I am all for making sure people
understand the cons as well as the pro with products.

Freezing when copying selections
Why does it seem like a personal war path? It's nothing of the kind.
Adobe shipped a product that wasn't ready. It's gotten lots of publicity
in the trade for the release. If there are problems the RIGHT thing is
for those to be publicized as well.
1) In a fairly operating market, consumers and sellers deserve all the
relevant information.
2) I've got a reputation for reporting the shortcomings of products
that promise X and deliver M instead. That's about honesty and fairness.
3) Adobe and other corporations make HUGE investments in PR and
advertising. The least buyers deserve is people reporting honestly on
the products.
There's no honor in being a consumer who runs around ONLY trumpeting the
positive attributes of every product they buy/use. In fact, doing so is
inherently deceptive - especially in a capitalist economy where
information on the real attributes of products is considered by
economists to be a necessity to proper functioning of the system.

Very good. Then Adobe must be wasting their time issuing a Tech note?
