Digital BW, The Print

I have used Bibble Pro for some time to do raw conversions and have been
pretty much satisfied with it but it is somewhat slow when processing a
card full of images. Aperture looks like it might get the job done
quicker but is pricey just for front ending the process that eventually
gets to a B&W print. Are there any Aperture users that could speak to
its utility as part of a B&W work flow?
