Sarah, Do you shake your carts BEFORE you install them? I can certainly understand the frustration of uneven color, but sometimes simply shaking the cart before we use them, will take care of those problems. There is of course, little you can do to take care of bad batches of ink, short of doing a really good foo doo dance. When strange things happen shortly after an ink change, one should look to the cart as a possible source. It's fixed now, however -- it turned out to be a faulty LM cart -- when I changed it out, my prints went back to normal. Thanks for the tip, though, it did lead me to the problem.
