Paul I would just like to take the opportunity to thank you for the work you have done in creating the R1800 Eboni QTR profiles and making them freely available to people like myself who just can't get their heads around the magic of curves / linearisation. The prints I am now printing (8"x10") using your profiles are among the best I have ever produced and having the option of either HPR or PremierArt Hot Press (with no brightners) is fantastic, as is the peace of mind I get from using pure carbon (Eboni) without having to add color toning and the associated potential fading issues . A side-note - I found that I noticed very faint parallel black lines in some prints when printing PA using the uni-directional setting in QTR. This may just be ink settling in the grain of the paper - not sure? Anyway, I was able to remove this by using the bi-directional setting with no lose in overall print quality. Also, this is the first time I have tried PA and I am very impressed with the suitable tonality of this paper with Eboni. So much so, that I can quite happily put up with the reduced d-max when compared with HPR. Thanks again.
