Robert and Laurence's suggestion work very well for me also with my 2400. I use the sheet feeder, 1 sheet at a time, and the thick paper setting for my photo papers. I do not experience any problems with ink smearing on that setting or less sharp photos. My photo papers range from eem to 300# paper.
