I've had a problem before where ink was spilled inside the printer during shipment. Do all Epson inkjets have some kind of waste ink resevoir - how would you empty that before shippng? 

Also, the Epson manual says to leave cartridges in the printer during transport. But, it also warns you to keep the printer level. I can't expect a shipping company to keep the box level throughout the trip. Is it better to remove ink when shipping?
