Digital BW, The Print

Now that I got the ink carts for the 2400, I went back and tried printing with VFA (on a Mac.)
I had no trouble using the rear paper feeder using 8.5x11 sheets after loading and choosing 
Manual-Roll.  This doesn't require much additional space at the back of the printer, only the 
attachment of the single sheet feeder. (Laurie's problem.)

Consistent with Kevin's result, I could not load a 4x6 sheet in the rear feeder without getting 
a trouble signal.  I even removed the paper holder and fed the paper directly into the slot.  
The paper was grabed and pulled in, but, no dice, still a trouble signal.
I guess, to print 4x6 in the rear feeder, an actual roll is required.  Strange.
