Digital BW, The Print

I see Reichman and Schewe are up to it again with a 7 hour Hi Def video
tutorial, I have to admit I was stoked when I read about it, reached for my
credit card, overcoming my hand to wallet reflex and then I finished reading
it, available only as a down load, 8 zip files 250-300mb per. Do these
hosers have any idea how &*#$ing long 250mb takes on a 64kb line? Living in
Africa where I count myself lucky to even have an internet connection I find
myself increasingly frustrated as the OSW (outside world) moves more and
more towards huge downloads, web pages with enormous files, streaming this
and streaming that, all this @#$% loads fast when you live in broadband land
but for us in the boonies we can only stand like kids with our noses pressed
against the candy store window. So when you load those files don't forget
your poor cousins in the third world who are just a couple steps removed
from a tin cans and a ball of string. I guess the upside is I've got way
better photo ops...
