i wish that i could remember. i sold the 1280 over a year ago for the 2400. keep at it because my 1280 made better b&w prints then the 2400. it took me a good week or more to refine Clayton's BO printing workflow to my 1280. i did about 200 test prints to finally get it down. fwiw, i used MIS Eboni Black ink w/ their cleaning cart in the color slot. Also, I used Red River "Aurora Art" and "Dourian Art" for my best prints. The 2400 can do a "good job" all the time, but it lacks the punch and wow factor that some of my better 1280 BO prints made. Also, it's very difficult to get rid of color cast in many of the 2400 prints. What I really wish is that the 2400 driver allowed you to choose "Black Ink Only" in order to draw only from the black slot. No more green cast, or yellow cast or pink cast. And most of all, no blue cast. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@...m, "mbrouphy" <mbrouphy@...> wrote: > > I've read through Clayton Jones' paper on making fine art BO prints on > the 2200 but it is hard to translate those steps into working with the > 1280.
