Hi Sarah: Here's a quick way to deal with this issue. You can cut and paste the areas that have spots onto a new 8.5x11 sheet and stick a few pieces of clear cellophane tape in the areas where the printer will apply the ink. I would not use too many pieces of tape (maybe 3-5 spaced out on the sheet). You can also get a full sheet the same size as your print and spot apply the cellophane tape, print and apply from there, but that seems like a waste. After making a print (using the same settings as your original), just dab on the ink that is sitting on the clear plastic with a small brush like an artist uses a palette. I think that you'll find the color match to be much better that way. Although the tape idea is one that I came up with, I learned this general touch up tip from someone on one of the fine Yahoo forums (maybe this one) a few years back. He or she used a plastic sheet to print on (such the uncoated back of a piece of inkjet-compatible film). Hope that works for you.
