Hi every body, I'm a news comer in this group that has been recommended to me, after a first reading of some topics I'm sure that someone in this group will be able to help me. I'm working at the calibration of my color workflow, my tools. Soft: Monaco EZ color Screen prob: Optix XR Scanner : Epson Perfection 4490 Printer ; Epson R2400 My problem: When I'm doing my profiles for paper/ink combination using my scanner, the profile gives a magenta cast to my grey scale. the Print after calibration is thus magenta (red) and a little to dark. Is some one experience the same problem, and more of all found a solution? The problem is the same for the color printing. X rite tells that the OB of the paper is the reason but does not give solution. (actually my tests with other paper gives similar results) Of course I'm using QTRip for full B&W photos and the result is perfect. BUT, I'm doing photos in B&W with only one object having one color in it. So, I've to print in color mode. Any help and/or experience on these subject are more than welcome Thanks in anticipation. Best regards. Daniel
