These sprays all decrease the dmax on matte papers. The Lascaux Fixativ does it the least, but it also has no UV blocker. So, for just physical protection (like in a book) the Lascaux would be preferable. For my museum project where very long term display is anticipated, I used Premier Art Print Shield. The price of the Lascaux has gone up substantially since I last bought. Jerry's usually has the best price.
