Re: inks for Epson R1800

2007-08-21 by John

I have a R1800 with 3MK and have just bought a used(2 years old)
Epson Pro 4000. My epson Pro 4000 use the same inkset as the 2200.

Therefore I can let you know why you cannot use the 2200 bulk ink in
R1800 even with profiling;

1. 2200 use Matte OR Photo black, Light Black, Cyan, Light Cyan,
Magenta, Light Magenta and Yellow inks.

2. R1800 use Matte black, Photo black, Cyan, Magenta, Red, Blue,
Yellow and Glop inks.

Cheers
