Digital BW, The Print

Thanks guys. I'm happy to know that I can stop worrying about it, and just work around it. Is there any folk wisdom out there about how close one can safely get to the bottom margin on that printer?

Yes, you are trying to do the impossible by making your 1280 print
onto the last half inch or so of your fine art paper stock. It's just
not in the realistic design parameters of that printer.
