I have similar problems with my R800. Two suggestions. First, run 6 or 7 sheets of plain paper through the printer using the paper feed button as this may help "clean" the rollers. Second, I find that if I do not hand feed heavier paper, even if the rollers grip, it slips and feeds through the printer without printing. I hold the top of the paper and give it a very gentle push just as it grabs. That seems to work most of the time. I wish that the mechanics of the R800 were up to the printing technology.
