I just sprayed one with Lyson Print Guard which cleared up the bronzing and gloss differential - except for the solid matt black area which is matt.

I brushed on Giclee Media Supplies Waterbased Matt Giclee Shield on the other ... left brush marks and bubbles - but if I can find a better way of applying it, that might be a good option, too. *Totally* fixed the gloss diff and bronzing; also smoothed out the texture.

But still, a fibre-based silver gelatin print is isn't.
