This is MIS's response to the 4800 cartridge issue: 

"On the 4800 refill instructions, it will depend on the cartridges, but here
is a link to one style of cartridge, they are the same as 4000/7600/9600....

I don't have a 4800, so I'm not able to comment on compatibility issues.
