I've been using a TiBook G4 for a year with no problems on my travels. It's worth it over an iBook not only for the wide screen and lighter weight, but also the video out will drive a 21" monitor in 24bit as an extended desktop - palettes on the Ti (iBook has limited video mirroring). Wouldn't sell it for this reason - as it's a desktop replacement. Wouldn't sell my Cube either, but have regularly updated desktop towers (I find too noisy now). Colour calibration is hopeless on any LCD screen, worse on laptop LCD. Battery life on the go can be as little as 2hrs with Wacom tablet, bus-powered Firewire drives & USB bits plugged, but the recharge is quick. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., "mkravit" <michael.kravit@w...> wrote: > thought I am thinking about buying an Apple G4 Powerbook 667, 1gb > Ram, 48gb HD.
