Be sure the tape over the air inlet is removed.

If the carts have not been stored outlet down, there could be an air bubble
there.

Subject: [Digital BW] R2400 & MIS ink problems

I just tried using some inks as recommended by Paul Rouke -
EZW-T0444-Y, K4-T0559-SLC & K4-T0597-SLC. I placed them into the
printer and ran a noozle check. These three cartridges failed to
produce a perfect pattern. Not even close...
I ran a cleaning cycle with no discernable improvement. In fact I
repeated the cleaning and noozle check three more times with little
improvement. I replaced the MIS cartridges with Epson's and no problem.
I had this problem with MIS inks on my old R1820.
A search of the archives revealed no discussions of this proble that I
could find.
Any suggestions?
