Hello Steve, The 5.0 version is not out. I was using 4.4. Maybe if I'd try an older version like 4.3 I would not try to play with the Epson adjustment program. I'd rather have a tech replace the head or buy a new R1800 than try and mess with this. :) Maybe if my R1800 would die on me after a long time, I'd get a new printer and try to resurrect the R1800 myself.
