I've used the 3M Spray Ment cans and they seem to hold well, but like you I certainly wouldn't trust them for long term storage on valuable prints. There is no telling what is in that stuff. I'd like to know the answer to this also. I just bought a small used dry mount press and I would imagine many dry mount tissues are far more reliable than any of these sprays.
