I have this exact problem, except on a used R2200 I bought for K7 
inks. It drives me crazy when I am in the room. I have stared at the 
moving print head for a long timeto try to determine the problem. As 
it does not seem to affect the print quality (as far as I can tell) 
and no obstruction seems to be present, I think it occurs internally 
behind where I can see and may have something to do with the gears 
and mechanism that drive the head. I would love to pull the printer 
apart and have a look.
