Allistair. I downloaded the QTR. It went to my Program files so I put a shortcut on my desktop. If I Click the shortcut it opens what I see. is this: Folder called bin Folder called icc Folder called Profiles Folder called PPD Folder called Eye One Folder call QuadTone a tiff called 21st step tiff called 100 step wedge. QTR license Word doc called GNU license an Intall document Quadtone users guide. NO RIP appears as appears in any of the info sheets by Paul Roark, or the fellow who wrote the User's Manual for the QTR. NO driver type screen for the QTR, only what is in the folder. I cannot get more specific than this. I do hope someone can help me with this. I am going no where fast. thanks again Frank In other words...I click the shortcut and ALL the files in the shortcut show up EXCEPT the tool (QTR) itself. It is a screen like any other folder that has files, tiffs , jpegs, text docs. etc in it. In other words..it is NOT an application just a folder with information in it...where can I find the app. for QTR --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "alistair_owens" <owens@...> wrote: > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Frank Jay > <frankjay02@> wrote: > > > I click the shortcut and all the files in the QTR show up > > > Frank > > Frank, you may need to be a bit more specific here.
