I recently modified my aging 2100 to use an external waste tank. After I put the thing back together absolutely nothing would print. Turns out the vacuum pump tube had been disconnected and this produced the exact symptoms you describe - Completely blank nozzle checks. You have to unscrew several components of the printer to get to the vacuum pump, takes about half an hour with a screwdriver and a service manual. A clogged vacuum pump tube can produce the same symptoms. While the printer is open you might want to take out both of the tubes from the vacuum pump assembly and make sure they're clean. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Un Globe Trotteur" <unglobetrotteur@...> wrote: > > Ok, I was given a 2200. 6 months ago, the printer had a clooged head. Last night i used some blue windex and tonight i tried a nozzle check. The printer acts like it's printing but the page is blank. I did a purge and same thing. I just put back some windex to sit overnight. > Anything else i can do or there's no hope. > Thanks. > PO > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
