Sometimes it happens in the middle of printout. I blame MIS inks in clogs, I have both old base and new base UT7 inks -- both clogs 2200, r200 and r220. I tried all easy tricks first: windex on the pad, etc. Then I replaced printhead on 2200 several months ago, but now getting clogs again. I found that I could clean it for a while only when I extract the head and pump windex and isopropanol through it. It is not that messy as doing it when head is in printer. After that treatment my printer prints again for a while. I am very good now in assembling/disassembling those suckers. I think that using this method it is possible to open any clog. Now my office looks like intensive care room for Epsons, one or two printers are getting IV most of the time. Frankly speaking, if I would be sure I could produce prints like I am doing with UT7, but on HP or Canon printer, I would accept losses and all Epson and MIS stuff will go to the dumpster. Printing is not my job, and looking back on all expenses and efforts with MIS inks, QTR spectro and Epsons, I see that it is almost as expensive as use of OEM inks. Good luck with your printer, send me e-mail if you need instructions how to pump cleaner through the head. Sergei
