Jon's point is a valid one. Our or Chinese engineers will figure out something or someone will reingeneer the piece that houses the ink and transports (no clue as to the name) the ink across the page. Someone will figure it out IF it is profitable, and it will be soon. Another point, instead of letters to the president, congressmen and senators, like I sent, why not letters to environmental orgaizations stating that thisEpson back legislation is forcing people to throw away cartridges which take about a thousand years to fully break down. All companies hate bad press, and right now, the only people who banter this about are photographers. How about printers in Greepeaces office..might be Epsons...or World Wildlife Federation..might be Epsons...etc etc.Would they want to support a company who "helps DESTROY the environment" The "green" movement is alive and well and growing and I am sure their lobbyists know all the angles to present this with. I belong to the Sierra Club and Audobon Society, I will get a letter off this weekend. You never know what kind of legs it might get from an environmental POV> my two cents Frank in NJ Jon Cone <jon@...> wrote: "The luckiest dogs are those with clipped tails....they're the ones who won't be chasing their own arses." __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
