it seems very good, especially for MF, being a little below par for 35mm.

You may want to check also the new flatbed Canon (also 2400 dpi), although I
couldn't find reviews about it.

Feb Shutterbug P78 discusses it.  Sounds as if I could scan my old tri-x
35mm negs that never made it from my darkroom to the contact sheet.  Moved
to new house with no darkroom before any prints were made.

Anyone know abt this scanner? -- seems to be the first one that I've run
across where you can scan both flat objects and 35mm film effectively.
