Black Only is limited by print size. The smaller, the worser. I suspect the main reasons for Black Only are minimal learning curve and bogus film grain (good for digicams). Legion offers sample packages... good deals...they acquired Moab, one of the best (known mostly for Entrada and Kayenta), and have some distinctive new papers of their own: eg Colorado Fiber Satine, a reasonably priced top-tier paper that doesn't suffer the glittery or "pearl" look of some of the more expensive air-dried-glossy-emulators. Using 2200 OEM/QTR with Colorado Fiber Satine, there's no gloss differential but there is plenty of bronzing when seen at +/- 20deg angle, and more obvious with warm tone QTR...gloss isn't uneven, like it is with most high gloss. Might be even better with Eboni/Black Only or with newer Epson pigments. I've yet to really explore Colorado Fiber Satine...the only real negative at this point is shiney marks at a certain point on white margins...I think this occurs when the printer pauses, so the fix may be more RAM (I've only got 1G).
