Paul, I'm very surprised you've had no responses to your post yet. I'm relatively new here myself, so have hung back till now. I'm in this quality b/w digital printing world for only a few months now. But you, Clayton Jones, Jon Cone and I'm sure others, are the 'go to' people in this field. So, I would think your posting of this alternative to this Epson conundrum we now find ourselves in would be most welcome, and would generate a lively thread. These Brits seem to be on to something... from what I glean after perusing your links, this seems a very possible way out of the quandary we now find ourselves in.
