I don't know about the 4800, Rudy, but I think around 50 percent  
might be good for the location in which your paper is stored. I store  
mine in a closet which houses the water heater and think that might  
help a bit when the humidity goes up. And I also think I remember  
list subscribers from high elevations in the Southwestern U.S. saying  
some time ago that their inkjets did OK until the humidity got down  
to around 20 percent. But the inks and the printers and the papers  
have all changed since then. Still, I think I'd consider putting off  
running a humidifier and keeping some records until I noticed an  
apparently related problem.
